All Moffat County Libraries will be closed in observance of Presidents Day.
7:30 a.m. The Boys & Girls Club of Craig will hold a play day. The play day is free to members, and non-members can attend for a cost of $10. Club doors open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Parents are responsible for their child's lunch. A small morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Call 826-0411.
10 a.m. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering immunizations every Monday and Friday. New clients should bring in their records 24 to 48 hours before their appointment dates. Children under 18 must be accompanied by their parents or present a signed permission slip from a parent. Medicaid recipients should bring their card Call VNA at 824-8233. There will be a Spanish interpreter on Feb. 28.
5:30 p.m. The Board of Trustees for the Moffat County Libraries will meet at the Craig branch. The public is always welcome.
5:30 p.m. LIFE, a weight loss group, meets Monday nights at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford, in Craig. Weigh-in begins at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6 p.m. Call Joan at 824-6611 or Ken Fleming at 824-6806.
8 p.m. Craig Group 1 of Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 50 S. Ranney St. open meeting. Call 824-7320.
Tuesday, Feb. 22
6 p.m. New member and parent orientation will be held at the Boys and Girls Club, 1324 U.S. Highway 40 in Craig every Tuesday. New members, existing parents and interested community members are encouraged to attend. Call 826-0411.
7 p.m. The American Legion Post 62 and Auxiliary meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the First Christian Church, 960 W. Victory Way. Please bring your food bank donations. Call 824-3085 after 5 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 23
The Craig Branch of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed for computer training.
Noon The Yampa Valley Ladies Golf Club will host a luncheon meeting at Serendipity coffee shop. RSVP with either Faye Paulson at 824-5920 or Phyllis Virden at 824-6403.
3:30 p.m. There will be a Girl Scout cookie sale at City Market until 6 p.m.
7 p.m. Bingo is open to the public at Craig VFW, 419 E. Victory Way.
Thursday, Feb. 24
10 a.m. Children's story-hour is held at 10 and 11 a.m. each Thursday morning at the Moffat County Library, 570 Green St. Call 824-5116.
7 p.m. An organizational meeting for a "Good to Great" discussion group will be held at the School District Administration Building. Anyone who has read, or plans to read "Good to Great" by Jim Collins is invited to attend. The facilitator for the discussion group will be Superintendent Pete Bergmann. Anyone interested in participating and unable to attend this meeting should contact Pres Askew at 826-0412 for additional information.
Friday, Feb. 25
9:30 a.m. The community playgroup for infants to 5-year-olds and their parents meets every Friday until 10:30 a.m. at the Early Education Center in the Moffat County School Administration Building, 775 Yampa Ave.

Saturday, Feb. 26
The Hayden Recreation Board is sponsoring Western riding lessons for kids at the indoor arena at the Routt County Fairgrounds. The cost is $20 per child. Multiple child discounts are available. Emphasis will be on safety and proper riding technique. To register and reserve your ride time please call Karen Montieth at 276-3088.

8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. The First Christian Church, 960 W. Victory Way, in Craig will present a series of sermons, "Jesus, Man of Passion," through Sunday, March 27. Call 824-6024.
1:30 p.m. The Routt-Moffat Woolgrowers Association's annual meeting is at the Moffat County Extension Office, 539 Breeze St. All woolgrowers are invited to attend. Call Gary Visintainer at 824-4159.

9 p.m. Hired Gun, a classic, country/rock band, will play until 1 a.m. Tickets are $10 per person. The proceeds will go to VFW to support veteran projects. Call 826-7916.
