The National High School Rodeo Association has added a Wrangler Division for junior high school students.
Today, there will be a meeting for students and parents interested in starting a rodeo club at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria at the Craig Middle School.

Board of Grazing Advisors meets March 3
The Craig District Board of Grazing Advisors will meet at 10 a.m. March 3 in the conference room of CSU Cooperative Extension Office, 539 Barclay St. Call John Raftopoulos at 824-2908.
Feds have more funds
for energy assistance
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced an additional $1.02 million in emergency funds for Colorado's Low Income Energy Assistance Program.
Each year, LIEAP helps more than 4.5 million low-income families pay the cost of heating their homes in the winter or cooling in the summer.
To find out whether you qualify for LIEAP assistance, call the Moffat County Department of Social Services at 824-8282.
Winners of Hoop Shoot compete in Rangely
Five winners from the Craig Elks Hoop Shoot traveled to Rangely for the district competition.
Armando Lopez of Craig in the boys 12 to 13 age group; Brian Davidson of Craig, boys 10 to 11; Payton Trask of Steamboat Springs, boys 8 to 9; Erika Kipfer of Steamboat, girls 8 to 9; and Chanda Walker of Craig, girls 10 to 11, all competed.
Both girls took third place and Brian Davidson took first and will go to Salida for the state competition.
Performing Arts Project seeks musicians for play
The Craig Performing Arts Project has openings for eight musicians for the upcoming performance of its play, "Something's Afoot," in April.
These parts are for people are good at sight reading.
Parts for piano, banjo, trombone, bass, and trumpet and two reed and percussion parts are available.
A pianist is needed as soon a possible.
