After traveling across the country while working security for a rock group and rap group, Jesse Wilson thinks he has found home.
"I haven't found anything here I dislike," he said. "For me I found it was a good town to raise my daughter."
Wilson moved from New Mex--ico to Craig in March after his girlfriend got a job here. After a little searching, he found himself a job as a bartender at Tin Cup.
Previously, Wilson worked security for a band called the Phunk Junkeez. His duties took him across the country.
"From coast to coast and border to border," he said.
While he enjoyed his job, he knew it wasn't the best line of work for him to raise his daughter.
"I'd go to bed in Denver and wake up in Omaha," he said of the tour bus rides. "After I had a kid I knew I had to settle down."
Wilson was glad he moved to Craig.
"It was a change of pace, a change of scenery and a change of life," he said.
In his free time, he likes to take in the outdoor areas of Craig.
"I like to go fishing with my daughter," he said. "My favorite thing to do is spend time in the outdoors."
One part of Craig Wilson is excited to experience is the winter.
"I love cold weather," he said. "I would rather be in the cold."
After visiting 40 states and hundreds of towns, Wilson said Craig ranks right at the top.
"Besides Maui," he said, "Craig has the nicest people I've ever met."
