- Moffat County senior Brittani Weber shot onto the throwing scene last year with a state-qualifying throw at the North Park Invitational in Craig. She threw another personal best two weeks later at the Clint Wells Invitational. She went on to finish seventh in the shot put at state and is one of the top returning throwers this year. Although her throws haven’t been what she’s hoped for, Weber did qualify for state last week with a throw of 34 feet, 10 inches.
