There will be Mother's Day/May Day fashion show hosted by Under the Aspen Tree at 11 a.m. Sunday in the Beef & Peppers banquet room at the Centennial Mall in Craig. Admission is canned goods, which will be donated to the Interfaith Food Bank.

C.O.M.A. fund-raising group meets May 4
Communities Overcoming Methamphetamine Abuse fund-raising committee will meet at 6 p.m. May 4 at the School Administration Building. The public is invited to attend and participate.

Library group hosts book sale this weekend
Friends of the Library will hold a second book sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Centennial Mall (in the old Payless Shoesource store). Used books will sell for 50 cents a pound. There is a huge selection of adult and children's books, and cookbooks to choose from. Friends are now accepting donations of books at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries.

Entries needed for Olde West parade
Entries are needed for the 2005 Grand Olde West Days Parade. The theme is Ramblin' and Gamblin'. The parade is at 1 p.m. May 28. Call Karen Brown at 824-7898.

Tryouts are today for Lynx baseball team
Tryouts for the 12-and-younger Northwest Colorado Lynx baseball team will be at 5:30 p.m. today at Woodbury Park. The team will be competing this summer in Triple Crown tournaments across the state. Call Shane Camilletti at 824-7877.

Special Olympics needs hay bales for dance
Special Olympics needs at least 100 small bales of hay or straw for its dinner and dance May 13 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds.

Mite Society holds bazaar Saturday
The Mite Society of the Christian Church will hold its annual Spring Bazaar and Bake Sale in the church fellowship hall, 960 W. Victory Way, from 9 a.m. to noon. Saturday.
The bazaar will feature a variety of gifts and crafts, as well as baked goods. Sweet rolls and coffee or tea will be available for patrons. The Joy Circle will have a plant sale at the same time and location.

City plans celebration of Cinco de Mayo
Integrated Community/Comunidad Integrada and the City of Craig invite you to take part in the first annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration. The event will be from noon to 6 p.m. May 7 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds.
