More prison time possible

A Craig man pleaded guilty to two charges of attempted escape from a detention facility in an agreement that may add to two years of prison time onto a current two-year Department of Corrections sentence.

Thank you to all businesses that participated in Moffat County Partner’s Sixth annual Paper Easter Egg Campaign. Each Easter, Moffat County Partners asks local businesses to support the program by selling paper Easter eggs to customers. This year, about 100 businesses supported the campaign. The Popular Bar was the “lead gatherer” this year, selling $202 worth of eggs. A thank-you goes to each person who bought the paper eggs and supported this campaign.

District Judge Michael O’Hara suggested a Craig man who pleaded guilty to domestic violence in Moffat County District Court recently regularly refer to a photograph of his girlfriend that police took after he had beaten her up.
