Tryouts are next week for Lynx baseball team
Tryouts for the 12-and-younger Northwest Colorado Lynx baseball team will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday at Woodbury Park. The team will be competing this summer in Triple Crown tournaments across the state. Call Shane Camilletti at 824-7877.

Kids, visit Crimestoppers booth at Saturday fest
Crimestoppers invites all children to attend its cookie-decorating booth and meet McGruff, who will be handing out Safe 2 Tell pencils and magnets at the Celebrate Children Festival at 10 a.m. Saturday at Centennial Mall. Representatives from PReVENT, DARE and the Craig Police Department will share information and conduct free car-seat safety inspections.
Mite Society hosts spring bazaar, bake sale
The Mite Society of the Christian Church hold a bazaar and bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the church fellowship hall, 960 W. Victory Way.
The bazaar will feature gifts, crafts and baked goods. available for patrons. The Joy Circle will have a plant sale at the same time and location.

The Bureau of Land Management Little Snake Field Office recently traded in two full-size vehicle for two hybrid sports utility vehicles. By using these fuel-efficient, gas/electric 4-wheel drive vehicles, the LSFO plans to reduce vehicle costs and improve overall fleet mileage, ultimately saving taxpayers money.
"These new replacements get about 30 mpg, about double the vehicles they replaced," assistant field manager Jerry Strahan. "They are soging to be used primarly by the LSFO Energy and Mienrsla staff so we're going to ve sncserivng energy while we develop and monitor energy supply projects on public lands in Northwest Colorado.
