The Craig Rotary Club is offering two all-expenses-paid five-day leadership trainings this summer for Craig youths. These programs are action-packed, fun-filled adventures that help build confidence and leadership skills.
Young Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp will be held Aug. 1 to 5 at the Ponderosa Retreat Center in Larkspur. This camp is for current seventh-graders who are interested in making new friends and want to become better leaders.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp is July 31 to Aug. 5 at the YMCA Conference Center in Estes Park. This conference is for current 10th- or 11th-graders who want to participate in team building, motivational speakers, exchange of ideas and leadership development.

VNA hosts community health center meetings
The Visiting Nurse Association of Northwest Colorado will host community meetings to present the concept of a community health center to the health-care community and general public. Meetings are at 7 a.m. Friday in Steamboat Springs at the Yampa Valley Medical Center Conference Room 1 and at noon Friday in Craig in The Memorial Hospital Board Room. Everyone is invited. Chinese acrobats perform at high school
The next performance in the Community Concert for the 2004-2005 season is the Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats. They will perform at at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Moffat County High School auditorium.
The BGCC dodgeball league begins Tuesday
Practice is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. The registration deadline is Friday. Boys & Girls Club members may join for free, and nonmembers pay a $10 fee. Call Mike Fraher at 826-0411.
IRS offers four-month tax filing extensions
Need more time to file your income taxes?
The Internal Revenue Service offers extensions that give taxpayers a four-month extension to the Friday deadline.
The IRS has a special toll-free phone line for extension 1-888-796-1074 for those that filed a 2003 return. Callers will receive a confirmation number that their extension has been accepted. Taxpayers with computers may go online to www.IRS.gov e-file an extension. Those with fax machines can download the 4868 Form and fax it to the IRS at 703-368-9694.
St. Michael's hosts Mother's Day luncheon

Join BGCC in Youth Service Day activities
On Friday, the Boys & Girls Club will be participating in the National Youth Service Day by cleaning up City Park. On Friday and Wednesday, members will help the Dental Coalition clean the new clinic.
