Grace Elwyn KlayKo died April 4, 2005, at Sandrock Ridge Care and Rehab Center in Craig. She was 77.
Grace Elwyn KlayKo was born July 9, 1927, in Wheeling, W.Va., to Henry Charles and Sarah Lucinda (Barlow) Miller.
KlayKo was raised in West Virginia where she attended school and graduated from high school. After high school, she worked for Zenith Optical Company and Wheeling Stam-ping during World War II, then as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company before her marriage.
KlayKo married Lewis Harvey KlayKo on Oct. 26, 1956, in St. Clairsville, Ohio, and to this union, four children were born. The family lived many years in St. Clairsville. In 1980, she and her husband moved to Delta, and later to Palisade and Clifton. They were divorced in 1986. In 1998, she moved to Craig, where she has resided until her death. KlayKo was an avid reader, enjoyed doing arts and crafts and in later years, loved to play bingo.
KlayKo was survived by her daughters Lucinda A. (Frank) Cook of Bolivar, Ohio, Patricia L. (Ebbie) Jones of Craig, and Paula M. (Terry) Calvert of Craig; son, Charles L. (Janeca) KlayKo of Aurora; grandchildren Roy Mosby and his wife Maggie M. Lynn, Andy Cook, Teal and Ebbie Jones II, Rachael and Faith Jones, Mariah KlayKo, and Elizabeth and Karla Kulp; great grandson, Misha Lynn; step grandchildren Gwen S. and Cory T. Calvert, Shelly and Skyler Nickle, and Shelby Castleberry; sister, Doris M. Norris of New Athens; former husband, Lewis H. KlayKo of Blaine, Ky.; good friend, Hilda Schmidt of Craig; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
KlayKo was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert H. Miller.
Memorial services were held Friday, April 8, 2005, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rod Compton officiating. The organist was Roberta Charles, with a duet by Paula and J B Chapman.
Selections were "How Great Thou Art," and "In The Garden."
Honorary pallbearers were "All Grace's Family and Many Friends."

Services were concluded at the church.
