8 a.m. Blood testing for people 65 and older who are taking part in the 9Health Fair is at Sunset Meadows II, 595 Ledford St.

9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club meets at Serendipity restaurant. The book to be reviewed is "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Call Marti at 824-5488.

4 p.m. Compassionate Friends meets until 5 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, Sixth and Green streets, in the library room. The mission of the Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief after the death of a child. Call Audrey Danner at 824-6636.

9:30 a.m. The community playgroup for children 5 and younger and their parents meets every Friday until 10:30 a.m. at the Early Education Center in the Moffat County School Administration Building, 775 Yampa Ave.

10 a.m. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering immunizations every Monday and Friday. New clients should bring in their records 24 to 48 hours before their appointments. Children younger than 18 must be accompanied by their parents or present a signed permission slip from a parent. Medicaid recipients should bring their cards. Call VNA at 824-8233.

Noon Browns Hole Homemakers Club meets at Lodore Hall in Browns Park. Travel west on U.S. Highway 40, turn onto Colorado Highway 318 to Browns Park, then drive 50 miles west to Lodore Hall. Call Dora Watson at 824-2251 or Lodore Hall at 269-3000.
