After Prom Party planning meetings

There will be After Prom Party planning meetings Wednesday, April 13, 20 and 27 at 7 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. All parents of juniors are encouraged to attend.

High-schoolers sought for dodge ball league

Anyone interested in becoming part of a dodge ball league for high school students should contact Mike Fraher at the Boys and Girls Club at 826-0411 or mikefraher@yahoo.com.

Meetings and practices will be held at the club and will start next month.

Deadline approaching to apply for scholarships

Tuesday is the deadline for Colorado students to apply for one of 70 $1,000 scholarships or one of 55 $6,000 scholarships offered through CollegeInvest.

CollegeInvest is a nonprofit higher education financing resource for Colorado students. The scholarships are drawn randomly. Students need to be Colorado residents, planning to attend a Colorado school, demonstrate financial need. For more information go to the website at www.collegeinvest.org or by calling 1-800-COLLEGE.
