Noon Healthy Lunch at the CSU Extension Office, 539 Barclay St., where people interested in learning to eat more healthfully are invited to participate for $2 in a workshop where participants will help prepare the lunch meal, receive a recipe booklet and learn more nutritious eating. Call 824-9182.
6:30 p.m. "Celebrate the Autumnal Equinox and the Goddess Within" at Steamboat Pines in Steamboat Springs hosted by Windhorse of the Rockies. Cost is $25 for Friday, $40 for Saturday or $60 for both (includes overnight accommodations breakfast and lunch). Call 846-9780.

9 a.m. The High School Rodeo will be at the Moffat County Fairgrounds in Craig until 2:30 p.m. This is the last event of the 2004 season and is free to spectators. Concessions will be available. Call 824-3329.
9 a.m. Visit a garage sale for Faith Lutheran Church, 580 Green St., just a few blocks south of the Golden Leaf Festival, until 4 p.m. We have something for everyone. Call 824-7580.
10 a.m. The fourth annual Golden Leaf Festival will be in historic downtown Craig until 4 p.m. Family-oriented activities, crafts, local vendors and music performers will celebrate the arrival of fall in the Yampa Valley. Call 824-4580.
10 a.m. Hands-on Quilters will meet at the Craig Fire Station. The demonstration will be curved piecing made easier. Call 824-2567.
