The Moffat County High School volleyball team earned its first Western Slope League win Saturday.
"Rifle is a struggling team, so it was a team we should have beat," coach Becky Howlett said. "We played to their level at times and that's why it went four games."
The Bulldogs beat the Bears 25-13, 23-25, 25-20, 25-12.
"A win is a win," Howlett said. "But I'm still waiting for a satisfying win in league play."
The team has three days to prepare for the 1-2 Eagle Valley Devils in Eagle.
"We need to work on our serve-receive game," Howlett said. "Eagle Valley is a good team with some a really good players that should challenge us."
