Nicole L. Shue

Navy Lt. Nicole L. Shue, daughter of Dona Shue of Craig, assigned to the guided missile destroyer USS Preble, homeported in San Diego, recently reunited with Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) 3 after conducting training exercises in the Navy's U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
Shue's ship conducted advanced training in damage control, concentrating on chemical, biological and radiological defense, as well as fire and flooding response team drills. The ship also conducted many community service missions. Ports of call included the Kingdom of Tonga; Hong Kong, China; Phuket, Thailand; and Singapore.
Shue is a 1991 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School of Steamboat Springs, and he joined the Navy in March 1996.
