Moffat County High School will be holding auditions for the pit orchestra for the school play from 9 a.m. to noon in the band room.

Monday, Sept. 20
Craig Middle School's River Watch program will take a chemistry trip to gather test samples for the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

Craig Intermediate School's Kids from the Country choir group will meet at 3:15 p.m. in the choir room. Any student interested please attend.

Tuesday, Sept. 21
Sunset Elementary School will host vision screening for all students. Parents are reminded to have children bring their glasses to school today.

East Elementary School will hold "Open House -- Parents Night" from 6 until 7 p.m. Parents are encouraged to have their student show them the school and meet the teachers.

Craig Middle School's magazine fundraiser drive kickoff assembly will be scheduled throughout the day.

Craig Intermediate School will hold a Parent Advisory Committee meeting at the Holiday Inn boardroom, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13, in Craig at 6:30 p.m. Childcare can be provided if needed. Parents and interested community members are encouraged to attend. Call 824-7312.

Wednesday, Sept. 22
Craig Intermediate School -- Fifth grader field trip to Deer Lodge Park for two nights, returning on Friday, Sept. 24.

Moffat County High School's Progress Report Day -- progress reports will be sent home with students.

Craig Middle School Student Council Retreat will leave the school at 8:30 a.m. to meet the Moffat County Fairground pavilion.

Thursday, Sept. 23
Ridgeview Elementary School will hold "Open House -- Parents Night" from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Parents are encouraged to have their student show them the school and meet the teachers.
Moffat County School Board of Education meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Yampa Building.

Moffat County High School football parents meeting will be held at 7 p.m. to discuss homecoming decorations. Call 826-0656.

Friday, Sept. 24
Moffatt County School District employees Wellness Committee will host a 5K fitness walk/run at Loudy Simpson park 4:30 p.m. Cost is $5 for District employees, $9 for family and friends which will include a meal following and long sleeve T-shirt.
