- The Downtown Business Association is organizing the fourth annual Golden Leaf Festival to celebrate the arrival of fall in the Yampa Valley. The festival is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 25. The goal is to have a block full of activity. The main emphasis is local vendors, community groups and family oriented activities. The festival is a great opportunity for nonprofit groups to recruit new members or raise funds for their organizations. Booth spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis as fees are received. Vendors are responsible for tables, chairs and weather protection. The fee is $35 a space for commercial and individual use and $25 a space for nonprofit groups.
