The Craig Intermediate School Science Department is having an Earth Treasure Fair this week during school hours, 201 E. Ninth St. Jewelry, key chains, desk sets, and other items made from rocks, minerals and fossils will be available for purchase. The money raised will pay for a science presentation for all of the students. Call 824-3287.

9 a.m. The Harley-Davidson Traveling Museum, an 18-wheel semi-trailer filled with classic motorcycles and memorabilia, will be at Beers Harley-Davidson until 6 p.m. in Vernal, 2029 W. Highway 40. Admission is free, and donations are welcome. Call Randy at (435)789-5196.

6 p.m. The District Eight Fall Vocal Clinic is being held at the MCHS auditorium. The free concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and will showcase more than 200 high school students from District Eight. 9 a.m. U.S. Department of Agriculture commodities will be distributed in Craig by the Moffat County Department of Social Services, 595 Breeze St., until 11 a.m. All households receiving commodities must be recertified each year. 5 p.m. The Memorial Hospital and Valley Health Center are having an after-hours mixer during which community members can meet the new specialists at TMH and tour the remodeled waiting areas. 7 p.m. A community slideshow and presentation will be hosted by Friends of Northwest Colorado with Erik Molvar, a wildlife biologist and author of "Wild Wyoming," which is about Wyoming's Red Desert and conservation issues within the greater Red Desert that encompasses part of Northwest Colorado, at the Center of Craig, 600 Yampa Ave. Discussion and book signing is after the presentation.
