Noon The Community Networking Group hosts a presentation by Russell George, the executive director of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, in Rangely until 1:30 p.m. in the Weiss Center Colorado Room at the Rangely Campus of Colorado Northwestern Community College. The mission of the Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and provide information to help others be supportive. Noon Healthy Lunch at the CSU Extension Office, 539 Barclay St., where people interested in learning to eat more healthfully are invited to participate for $2 in a workshop in which participants help prepare the lunch meal, receive a recipe booklet and learn about nutritious eating. Call 824-9182.
