9 a.m. The Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll fund-raising drive will take place with donation tables at Craig City Market and Safeway stores through Sunday. Money raised will be split between with the Visiting Nurses Association and Horizons.

10 a.m. Hunter sight-in at Bears Ears Sportsman Club, Cedar Mountain Rifle Range until dark. The cost is $5 a rifle. Targets and spotting scopes will be provided, and range officers will be on duty. The range is 4.5 miles north of Country General on Moffat County Road 7. Call 826-0150.

4 p.m. Community Coat Drive distribution will be at Hayden Congregational Church, 202 E. Jefferson St., in Hayden until 7 p.m. Anyone who needs a coat may come. One coat per person per year. Parents may pick up coats for children. Call 276-3510.

4:30 p.m. Key Club/EPYCS meets at Moffat County High School in Room 104.

5:30 p.m. "Ask-A-Lawyer Night" is being held in Steamboat Springs in the Colorado Mountain College Library, 1330 Bob Adams Drive. This is a free service for low-income residents. Friday is the deadline to submit a short story in the contest sponsored by the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries. The contest is open to people of all ages, and rules are available at the Library. Call 824-5116.

Hayden Recreation Department's English riding seminar is at the Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden. The cost is $86 a person. Class times are scheduled according to age group. Call Becky Thayer at 824-0311.
