8 a.m. Moffat County High School is offering the PSAT test during school hours today. This is the test to qualify sophomores and juniors for the National Merit Scholarship and also is the practice SAT test. Registration forms are available from Paula Duzik at the high school. Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll fund-raising drive will begin with donation tables at Craig City Market and Safeway stores at 9 a.m. through Sunday. Money raised will be split between the Visiting Nurses Association and Horizons.

9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club meets at 544 Sixth Ave. W. "Reading Loleta in Tehran," by Azar Nafisi, will be reviewed. Call Marian at 824-7368.

10 a.m. Hunter sight-in at Bears Ears Sportsman Club, Cedar Mountain Rifle Range until dark. The cost is $5 a rifle. Targets and spotting scopes will be provided, and range officers will be on duty. The range is 4.5 miles north of Country General on Moffat County Road 7. Call 826-0150.

4 p.m. Community Coat Drive distribution will be at Hayden Congregational Church, 202 E. Jefferson St., in Hayden until 7 p.m. Anyone who needs a coat may come. One coat per person per year. Call 276-3510.

5:30 p.m. "Ask-A-Lawyer Night" is being held in Steamboat Springs in the Colorado Mountain College Library, 1330 Bob Adams Drive. This is a free service for low-income residents. The next meeting in the Craig area is Nov. 9 at the Craig library, 570 Green St. Call 1-800-526-6968.
