7 a.m. John Salazar, a Democratic candidate for Colorado's 3rd Congressional District, continues his listening tour of Colorado's third district at the Golden Cavvy Restaurant, 538 Yampa Ave., this morning until 8 a.m. Topics will include how to protect Colorado's water, improve the economy and provide affordable access to health care.

7 p.m. The End-of-Season Jamboree/Music in the Barn is being held at Paintbrush Park in Meeker in the Wilber Barn, 902 Sulphur Creek Road (north of the fairgrounds). 8 a.m. Moffat County High School is offering the PSAT test during school hours today. This is the test to qualify sophomores and juniors for the National Merit Scholarship and is also the practice SAT test. Registration forms are available from Paula Duzik at the high school.
