How did you get into your line of business?
I did a lot of research, asked a lot of questions of downtown merchants and then I took the leap.

Describe your philosophy of being a good businesswoman. I try to accommodate all customers. Providing a variety of price points for customers is really important.

How do you define the role of your business in the community? My store is a positive asset to the growth of downtown Craig. It helps keep local money local.

What is the best part of your job? Seeing the look on a little girl's face when she tries on a dress and it makes her feel beautiful and special.

What is the most challenging part of your job? Juggling three girls, a ranch and a business and still finding time for myself.

What advice would you give someone considering opening his or her own business?
Be prepared for long days. Your work day doesn't end when you hang the "Closed" sign at night.
