- Today The Moffat County Ice Arena is open for the 2004 skating season. Session times vary according to the daily schedule of hockey practice and figure skating practice. Open skating sessions are 1 1/2 hours and are available every day of the week. Each session costs $2.50 and skate rental is available for $3 a day. - The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurses Association is offering several drop-in flu clinics this month for all prioritized groups. To qualify as “prioritized,” individuals must fall under one of the following categories: children ages 6 to 23 months, adults age 65 and older, women who will be pregnant during influenza season, residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities, children 6 months to 18 years of age on chronic aspirin therapy, health-care workers with direct patient care or out-of-home care givers and household contacts with children younger than 6 months. Flu shots cost $18. Clinics will be held at the VNA office,745 Russell St. from 1 to 6 p.m. today; from 8:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday; and from noon to 4 p.m.Friday.
