The annual Craft Show at Centennial Mall starts Friday and will feature more than 80 vendors with crafts, gifts and collectibles. Local vendors come from Craig, Hayden, Steamboat Springs, Meeker and Oak Creek and join others from Grand Junction, Tabernash, Morrison, and Vernal and Bluebell, Utah. A variety of items will be available, including quilts, ceramics, pottery, stained glass, jewelry and food items. Several food vendors also will be onsite, including Wild West Barbecue and Karrie's Katering. Booths will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Participation wanted

for Parade of Lights

The Craig Downtown Business Association invites businesses, organizations and individuals to participate in the annual Parade of Lights. This year the parade is on Nov. 27 and again will be sponsored by the Craig Lions Club. The parade theme is "I'll be home for Christmas." Prizes will be in the form of Craig "spree-bucks," which will be redeemable at local banks and businesses. The first-place float will be awarded $250, second place wins $200, and third place takes $100. Kick off the Christmas season and make this year's Parade of Lights the best. Salvation Army looking for holiday bell ringers

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteer bell ringers for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between Nov. 26 and Dec. 18. Individuals or organizations wishing to volunteer should call LuAnn Kline at 824-5926 to set up a time.
