Garrett Schopper

Craig native and Johnson & Whales University freshman Garrett Schopper, is spending the last trimester of the year in Sweden.
This is the last year that Johnson & Wales University will operate a campus in Gothenburg, Sweden. Schopper will be able to take advantage of the opportunity presented by studying marketing, his major, on an international campus.
Schopper was selected to participate in the 2004-05 Campus Community Leadership Team. Schopper will be involved in ensuring the overall well-being of the resident students of Johnson & Wales University.
In addition to being part of the Campus Community Leadership Team, Schopper will be participating in Leadership Academy. According to Matt Smith, Interim Director of the Community Leadership Institute, "Garrett is an amazing student. His quiet, humble approach to leading others has earned him the opportunity to participate in Leadership Academy, the most highly selective leadership development program at Johnson and Wales University."
In addition to his academic accomplishments, Schopper is an avid runner and member of the Johnson & Wales University Running Club.
He enjoys rock climbing, sports, traveling, backpacking and wood working.
Academics are very important to him and he puts his studies before all else.
