Belize nurse says it’s time to stop worrying and get on with life

To the Editor:
Hello Everyone. Once again, I think my e-mail screwed up ... I just wanted you know what's happening here in Punta Gorda. The Toledo District has been without fuel (regular and diesel) for 9 days ... finally today we got fuel!! And to add to the wonderful things happening ... after 3 weeks without water in the clinic ... we mysteriously got water! I have been carrying gallons from home and worrying that I would have to do that on bicycle (without fuel) but everything is good to go now!
The police continue to be a presence in my life ... monitoring who I'm seen with, where I go, etc., but I don't feel afraid like I did before. I need to get on with my life ... and I have so much support here ... please write; I'd love to hear from each of you.
