Dalpha Jane (Decker) Zimmerman died June, 5, 2004, in Craig. She was 77.

Zimmerman was born Jan. 5, 1927 in Hayden, to Harry W. and Ruth Decker.

As a child, Zimmerman lived in Phippsburg, Toponas, Yampa, and Hayden.

She moved to Craig in 1945. She was married to William Ellifritz briefly.

She married George W. Zimmerman on April 24, 1948, in Craig.

Zimmerman is survived by daughters Kathy (Jim) Montgomery of Kasilof, Alaska, Ella Mae (John) Becker of Casper, Wyo., Mable (Bill) Brogdin of Casper, and Marlene Lorrigan of Craig; grandchildren Andy (Leslie) Cook of Michigan, Shelley Montgomery of Craig, Bryan (Mary Beth) Montgomery of Kasilof, Alaska, Richard (Christine) Dunckley of Craig, Jack Lorrigan and family, and Tracy (Paul) Seeger and children; great-grandchildren Stayton and Desmond Stauffer of Craig, Sasha Cook, Justin Montgomery, Kelly Bernice Montgomery, and Candice, Sadie, Kassey, Robert Becker, and Cindi (Todd) Brus; great-great-grandchildren Shawn and Ricky Becker, and Tristin and Kolby Brus; sisters Stella (Paul) Love of Benson, Ariz., and Ellen (Bill) Randolph of Las Vegas, Nev.; brothers Charlie (Iva) Decker, Lee (Sharon) Decker and Dart (Cece) Decker, all of Craig; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Zimmerman was preceded in death by her husband, George Zimmerman; a son, George Willis Zimmerman; a daughter, Tracy Zimmerman; a granddaughter, Kelley Ann Zimmerman, her parents, Harry W. and Ruth Decker; and brothers Lane and Kent Decker.

Services were held June 9, 2004 at Craig Cemetery with Daniel Shaffer officiating.

The selection was "I'll Fly Away."

Pallbearers were Mike Montgomery, Bryan Montgomery, Destry Baker, Rich Dunckley, Bill Chase, and Andrew Cook.

Honorary pallbearers were "All Her Adopted Grandkids."

Interment was at Craig Cemetery.
