John T. Distelhorst has been promoted to the rank of first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. Distelhorst is a program manager assigned to the Air Force Technical Applications Center, Patrick Air Force Base in Cocoa Beach, Fla. He is the son of Thomas E. and stepson of Dana J. Distelhorst of O’Fallon, Ill. His wife, Julie, is the daughter of Rodney and Penny Southwick of Craig. The lieutenant received a bachelor’s degree in 2002 from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

Shane Stockton, 21, was admitted to The Memorial Hospital with a punctured lung Tuesday after wrecking his 2002 Chevy S-10 pickup while driving north on Colorado Highway 13, two miles south of Hamilton.

This contest uses funds collected by the Colorado Association of Realtors’ Housing Opportunity Foundation (CARHOF). The Craig Association of Realtors is a real estate trade organization representing more than 25 members. The association supports private property rights and equal housing opportunities. CARHOF is a charitable foundation designed to provide funding for affordable housing projects across the state.
