Adams suffers from cerebral palsy and as a youngster his legs were twisted and distorted, said his mother, Anna Adams. Michael has nothing but good things to say about the Intermountain Shriners Hospital in Salt Lake City.

- The Craig Board of Realtors is sponsoring a scholarship fund-raiser Friday. The Nite Lite Beach Golf Tourney features a four- or five-person scramble with “nite lite” balls, followed by a beach party and munchies to announce the winners. A cash bar will be provided by the Tin Cup Grill at the clubhouse and on the beach. Don’t forget a flashlight. The entry fee is $45 a player. Space is limited to the first 18 teams. Entries can be submitted to the golf course pro shop. The deadline is today. Call 824-3673.
