Teens reported missing located Sunday
Two juvenile girls who were reported missing Friday were found at a local residence Sunday morning, said Cpl. Bryan Gonzales of the Craig Police Department.
Posters asking for information about the girls' whereabouts were posted around Craig and as far away as Hayden on Saturday. The posters had photos of the girls, named Kayla and Lindsey, and said they had last been seen at 3 a.m. Friday.
Police pursued an anonymous tip, which led them to a local residence, Gonzales said. The officers waited outside until the homeowner arrived, he said. Gonzales said the homeowner knew the girls were there, but did not know they had run away from home. The girls, ages 13 and 14, cooperated with officers, he said.
