To the Editor:
I am researching for a documentary on the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930s during the administration of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
I welcome responses from those still-living CCC veterans -- their stories of the experience, the type of work, the good, the bad, the comical -- and also how their salary aided their families during the Depression years.
I'm also interested in how their experiences, under the supervision of the U.S. Army, helped initiate their entrance into military service during World War II.
Send information to P.O. Box 608, Ridgway, IL 62979
