Dixon, Wyo. resident Glenda Sue Gross died Feb. 16, 2004, at Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver. She was 53.
Gross was born March 20, 1950 in Ft. Morgan, Colo., to Chester G. and Mildred A. (Packard) James.
Gross lived in Kremmling and Craig before moving to Dixon 31 years ago. She married Albert Gross on Jan. 16, 1972, in Meeker. She served as postmistress in Savery until three or four years ago. She was a member of the Cowbells and enjoyed horses, flowers, and being outdoors.
Gross is survived by her husband, Albert Gross, of Dixon; daughter, Floydene (Bill) Orchard, of Baggs, Wyo.; grandchildren Colton and Clay Orchard; a sister, Helen (Jerry) Pierson, of Dixon; and a brother, Chester Glen James Jr., of Dacona.
Services were held Feb. 22, 2004, at Reader Cemetery, in Savery, with Paul Prestrud officiating. The selection was "Storms Never Last" by Jack Barnett.
Honorary pallbearers were all of Glenda's many friends.
Interment was at Reader Cemetery.
