Superbowl incident example of American sins

To the Editor:

At the halftime performance for the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 1, millions, including many children, saw Justin Timberlake tearing off Janet Jackson's top, showing her breast. Thus, we have cesspool filth presented by MTV and CBS, to the multitudes. In addition, Sean P. Diddy was shown grabbing his crotch. The virtues of purity and modesty were totally discarded.

Chairman Michael Powell of the FCC, rightly stated, "Our nation's children, parents, and citizens deserve better."

The Holy Bible states in Romans 3:23, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." In America sin is becoming more open, as seen at the Super Bowl. Fortunately, there is salvation. God states in Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
