Lydia Christell Robertson: 1917-2004

Lydia Christell Robertson of Craig, died Nov. 27, 2004, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. She was 87.
Lydia Christell Rice was born Oct. 18, 1917, in Burlington, Colo., to Bert E. and Grace (Whinfrey) Rice.
Robertson was raised and attended school in Burlington. She was a homemaker and lived in Denver and Fountain before moving to Craig some 30 years ago.
She worked for Gates Rubber Company in Denver and as a seamstress. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and socializing with her many friends.
Robertson is survived by her daughters Mary Lou (Larry) Priest of Chula Vista, Calif., Christine (Wayne) Trask of Penrose, and Nona (Earl) Stone of Somerset, Ky.; sons Larry Nollenburger of Fort Collins, John Wolschon of Craig, and Stanley (Judy) Wolschon of Craig; numerous grand and great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Velma Rhodes of Delta; and brother, Bert E. (Doris) Rice of Bremerton, Wash.
Robertson was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lois; brothers Alvin, Leo, Robert, Melvin, Alvin, Joyce Lee and Billy; and her daughters Charlotte Spivey and Bonnie Zoe Wolschon.
Memorial services were held Dec. 2, 2004, at 2 p.m., at Grant Mortuary Chapel with David Carrick officiating.
Selections were "In The Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross."
Services were concluded at the mortuary.
