What prompted you to open your business in Craig? I was born and raised in Craig, and after spending a few years in Arizona learning the trade, I decided to come back home and open a business here.
How did you get into your line of business?
I learned a lot in Flagstaff when I was working for a shop that did custom hot rod work, and I realized I wanted to do custom work as a business.
Describe your philosophy of being a good businessman. Be on the customer's side. Communicating with the customer exactly what the problem is and showing them what needs to be done is so important, especially in the body shop business.
How do you define the role of your business in the community? In this county, so many people get into accidents with wildlife, and this business is a necessity. My workers and I take classes and get certifications to stay current on all the new technologies. If customers are looking for quality work and a place that doesn't take shortcuts, they come here.
