- An Oak Creek woman, who was seriously injured in a car accident Aug. 7, remains in the intensive care unit at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, a hospital spokeswoman said Friday. Marcia Gregory, 26, was ejected from the sport utility vehicle driven by her husband, Jody, when it collided head-on with a tanker truck about 5 miles west of Maybell. Marcia Gregory was reported in serious condition when she was transported by ambulance to The Memorial Hospital and immediately flown by Flight for Life to the Grand Junction hospital. Brock Gregory, the couple’s 21-month-old son, died in the accident.
