- To the editor, I am amazed at how poorly the Moffat County Library is managed. The management has created an unfriendly and deplorable environment within the library. How can the county let this continue for years? The management has intimidated and shown hostilities toward employees and patrons when they do not fit into their “agenda” or have different goals and beliefs about library function and structure. The reason I know is I have first hand experience working within the library. This is a public library for the public, not for their power trip. How dare they feel superior to anyone else? We are all just people; we all have faults and make mistakes. How dare they use their so-called “power” to harass people? This is not real power, they are not benefiting the community to help it grow and prosper, and they are depressing the further education of this great community.

He stated, “On a much smaller scale but equally as important, community journalism has the same responsibility in holding local governments accountable,” and that, “The Craig Daily Press will continue to uphold its obligation to follow the issues of importance to the public and investigate issues whether they become a story or not.”
