Nurse Donna back in Belize
To the Editor:
I have been back in Belize for five days and things are very quiet. The sea is quiet, the skies are quiet; it's very peaceful again.
I have had no problems with the police or anybody else. In fact, most people seem to be happy that I've returned!
My clinic is as busy as ever and I've received several invitations to spend Christmas with Mayan Indian families!
My friend Ronda from Toronto is staying with me now for 3 weeks. She was a "Canadian Peace Corps" volunteer here from 1999-2001. It's nice to have company.
Thank you everyone in Craig, CO, for all the love and support I received while I was there. I hope you realiz what a wonderful community in which you live!
