Cheyenne, Wyo., resident Catherine June Kawcak died May 12, 2003, in Cheyenne. She was 75.
Kawcak was born March 26, 1928, in Denver and had lived in Cheyenne since 1956. She also lived in Greeley, Colo., and Craig, Colo.
She had retired as the owner of a vacuum store and worked at DePaul Hospital and Cheyenne Children's Clinic. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, past president of the Bishop's Guild, the Alter Rosary Society, Deconery, St. Mary's PTA, Cheyenne City Bowling League and Meals on Wheels.
Kawcak is survived by sons Larry Kawcak, of Denver, Ronald Kawcak, of Cheyenne and Christopher Kawcak of Bradenton, Fla.; daughter, Rose Ann Wahl, of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Ralph Bond, of Worland, Wyo.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kawcak on Sept. 13, 2000; father, Ralph Storey; mother, Mary Bond; and stepfather, Ted Bond.
Mass of Christian Burial was May 17, 2003, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Craig with Fr. Roger Lascelle as the celebrant. The organist was Carol Moler with Patrick Stolz as the soloist.
Pallbearers were Ronald Kawcak, Christopher Kawcak, Gregg Wahl, Lawrence Kawcak, Rose Ann Wahl and Ralph Bond.
Interment followed at Craig Cemetery.
