Recall 'fact-finding' meeting a bad joke

To the Editor:

What a joke! I had some free time last night so I went to the public meeting regarding the recall of the senior county commissioners.

I should probably have stayed home and watched TV.

I did not see any compelling evidence convincing me a recall is necessary or even justified. What I saw was distorted facts and incomplete information. Quite honestly, it was a waste of time.

I have a sense most of us in the audience saw right through the facade of the whole process. In fact, it appears to me the recall effort is over before it has even begun -- as it well should be.

I couldn't even get any meaningful material that could be developed for the upcoming Kiwanis play and for that, I am profoundly disappointed.
