New Council Officers
Congratulations and good luck to the 2004 Council Officer Team which was elected at the October Council Meeting. The competition was very tough but the following members were elected to serve:

Youth Fest
Please mark your calendar for Feb. 20-22, Youth Fest, a leadership camp for 4-H members between the ages of 9 and 13, provided by the State 4-H Senate Officer team.
It will be at the Ponderosa Camp Monument again this year. If interested, call the Extension Office for an application.
District Retreat
Registration material will be available in January for the 11th Annual 4-H District Retreat at the Moffat County Extension Office. This year's retreat will be at the Holiday Inn in Craig. District Retreat will be held March 5-7.

Adult/Youth Volunteers Needed
If you are interested in becoming a 4-H leader or know of someone who might be interested, please give us a call. Also, if you would be interested in helping out with projects in the office, please let us know.
Moffat County Feeder Calf Show
This year's Feeder Calf Show will be on Feb. 8 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds. For those individuals enrolled in market beef, a letter will be sent to inform members of all the particulars.
Routt County Feeder Calf Show
This year there will be a Feeder Calf Show in Routt County on Feb. 15 at the Hayden County Fairgrounds. This will be in conjunction with Routt County Market Beef Weigh-in. This will be open to Moffat County 4-H and FFA members.

Leadership development
All senior 4-H members are invited to attend the 2004 Leadership Development Conference, Jan. 31- Feb. 2. This conference will include workshops, intense leadership training and team building activities as well as the mid-winter meeting for the state 4-H Senate and Leaders Council. If interested, call or stop by the Extension for an application.

Plat Books Are In!
The 2003-2004 Moffat County Plat Books are in and ready to be purchased. The proceeds that are raised from the sales of the plat book go to help fund many of the activities of the 4-H Program. The new plat book will cost $15. It makes a great Christmas gift as well as a great tool to have in your pickup truck.
