Rita B. Kemp, died Dec. 2, 2003, at United Medical Center West. She was 78.
Kemp was born Dec. 29, 1924 in Willimantic, Conn., to Philbert and Eva (Ducharme) Rondeau.
Kemp married Gerald L. Kemp, Aug. 16, 1958 in Steamboat Springs. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She will be missed by not only her family and friends, but all of the birds in her neighborhood as well.
Kemp is survived by her husband, Gerald L. "Jake" Kemp, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; sons Thomas Carson, of Loveland, Daniel Carson, of Loveland, and Michael Carson, of Craig; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Kemp was preceded in death by her parents Philbert and Eva (Ducharme) Rondeau, and her brother, Laruent V. Rondeau.
A funeral liturgy was held Dec. 4, 2003 at Schrader Chapel.
Services were Dec. 5, 2003, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Cronkleton, Jr. officiating.
Pallbearers were Wade Carson, Christian Carson, Scott Carson, Jill Durham, Matthew Carson, Christopher Carson, Danielle Carson, and Casey Carson.
Place of burial was at Olivet Cemetery.
