High school students can begin to prepare for school early by keeping school hours, getting to bed earlier and getting up earlier, according to two Moffat County High School counselors.
Paula Duzik and Carroll Moore said it also is important for students to:
- Check the school dress code before shopping for school clothes
- Purchase general school supplies such as notebooks, pens, pencils
- Come to freshman and new student orientation from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, August 22
- Returning students need to find their schedules and know where they should go on the first day of school
- The school schedule has changed this year -- there is no early class and school begins at 8:10 a.m.
- Students should make sure to check the bus schedule -- it may have changed from last year.
