Craig resident Keith Joseph Muldoon died April 5, 2003, at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Denver. He was 46.
Muldoon was born Dec. 2, 1956, in Sommerset, Mass., to Norman and Geri (York) Muldoon. He was raised and attended school in Sommerset. He moved to Craig in 1980 to work at the Craig Station power plant for 10 years. He then worked at ColoWyo Coal Company and was working in the laboratory there at the time of his death.
Muldoon was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July of 2002. He was a member of the Craig Planning and Zoning Commission and enjoyed playing golf, traveling, rafting and playing black jack
Muldoon is survived by his wife, Judy Muldoon, of Craig; sons Steward and Joseph Muldoon, of Craig; parents Norman and Geri Muldoon, of Sommerset; sisters Kathy and Karen, of Sommerset; brother, Michael, of Sommerset; mother-in-law, Darlene (Calvin) Windows, of Grand Junction; sister-in-law, Carol Whitehead, of Craig; and brother-in-law, Leslie Queen, of Highlands Ranch, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Kevin, and his father-in-law, Leslie Queen.
Services were April 9, 2003, at Shadow Mountain Clubhouse in Craig. The eulogy was given by John Ponikvar.
Honorary pallbearers were Leslie Queen, Robin Herring, Robert Whitehead and Calvin Windows.
Services concluded at Shadow Mountain Clubhouse.
Memorial donations may be made to a college fund for Muldoon's sons, Joe and Steward, in care of Grant Mortuary.
