Linda Ann Jespersen


Craig resident Linda Ann Jespersen died Sept. 26, 2002, at her home. She was 46.

Jespersen was born April 28, 1956, in Berkeley, Calif., to Dr. John and Doris (Hoffman) DeNoyer. The family moved to Maryland where Jespersen attended school. She graduated from high school in Chevvy Chase, Md. She then attended Chapman College in California and Mt. Vernon College in Washington, D.C.

She married Charles F. Jespersen in March of 1981. In 1995, she and her family moved to Steamboat Springs where she worked as a waitress for Steamboat Ski Corp. and at the Yacht Club Restaurant. She moved to Craig in May of 2002.

She enjoyed walking with her dogs, skiing, bicycling, dancing and being with her family.

Jespersen is survived by her husband, Charles "Chip" Jespersen, of Craig; daughter, Shawna Jespersen, of Kremmling, Colo.; sons, Shane DeNoyer, of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and Kyle (Mia) Jespersen, of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Cassidy Martinez and Emerald Jespersen; mother, Doris DeNoyer, of Kensington, Md.; father, Dr. John DeNoyer, of Herndon, Va.; sisters, Barbara DeNoyer, of Gaithersburg, Md., and Emily DeNoyer, of Maryland; and brother, Perry DeNoyer, of Rockville, Md.
