Bergmann to recommend expulsion

School Board will make final decision on Jackman, Jacob, Elam at Jan. 28 meeting


The three Moffat County students accused of planning to bomb the high school and courthouse have been recommended for expulsion from school.

Pre-expulsion hearings were held Tuesday night for Stephen Jackman, 17, Tony Jacob, 16, and Tommy Elam, 14, who are accused of planning to bomb the Moffat County High School and Courthouse. Based on the hearings, Interim-Superintendent Pete Bergmann will recommend that the three suspended students be expelled.
