Scared: a student's view

To my Fellow Moffat County Citizens:
I am writing this letter on behalf of myself and some of my fellow classmates. This letter is to express my feelings regarding the recent arrests of three of my fellow classmates.
This is one of those situations you would never think would happen in your hometown, but this time it did. There may be no physical damage in our situation, but the emotional and psychological damage, especially to the Moffat County students and faculty has yet to be assessed.
As a Moffat County High School student, I fear the walk from the parking lot to the front doors of the High School. What if...what if there are other students wanting to do the same thing? What if the police missed something? What if I have to spend the rest of my high school days fearing that something bad is going to happen? What if I am fearing nothing? What if it was just a overreaction?
The what if that scares me the most is...what if it wasn't?
Why here? Why us? What have I or any of us done to make them feel they needed to resort to such drastic measures? Having been a student of the Moffat County School District for the past 12 years, I have never seen or heard anything that needed to be solved in the way my three fellow classmates allegedly planned to do.
Thank you for allowing me to express how I feel about this matter.
