The Maybell man who was injured when a semi truck fell has now been home for a week and continues to recover from his injuries.
Michael Noonan, 64, was discharged from St. Mary's Hospital on April 7 and is successfully recuperating at home.
"He's doing very well," Betty Noonan said. "He's improving every day. That's all I can say."
Noonan suffered serious head injuries when a semi tractor truck collapsed onto him on March 20.
Noonan was working to change the tires on the truck at Wagner Construction Co. that morning when at approximately 11:20 a.m. the
rear frame of the rig fell on him.
Noonan had already been pulled out from underneath the truck when emergency personnel arrived.
Noonan was flown by a Flight For Life airplane to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction that afternoon.
He was originally listed in critical condition.
The Moffat County Sheriff's Office completed its investigation March 28 and the incident was labeled an accident.
