Students place trail markers at park

To the Editor;

The Ridgeview Elementary School first grade, Sunset Elementary School second and fourth grade, and East Elementary School fourth grade students and their teachers, Mrs. Bray, Mrs. Arnett, Mrs. Petch and Mrs. Samuelson, want to thank all of those who helped with the research, construction, and installation of the new trail markers project at Loudy-Simpson.

Some helped with field trips and information about mammals, life cycles, birds or vegetation. Some provided materials and labor to make the new markers or install them at the park. All offered encouragement and appreciation for the work the students did.

Thank you, Craig Kiwanis Club, Bureau of Land Management, State Parks, Yampaticka/Partners in Interpretation, Moffat County Extension Office, Arc Welding specialists and the parents of each of these young citizens.

Paulette Bray, Cheryl Arnett, Gail Petch, and Shannon Samuelson

To the Editor;

It's great to live in a small town with so many caring, loving people. Thanks to all my family and friends for their prayers, cards, flowers and visits while in the Craig and St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. Thanks to the doctors, staff, therapist and EMT's. Also thanks to the lady who came to the hospital to cut my hair.

Al Gonzales.
