Church presents four scholarships


The First Congregational Church would like to announce that it has presented four of its nine 2001 graduates with $500 scholarships. They are: Nicole Shatz who will be attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins to major in biology with a career goal of pediatric medicine; Becky Harding who will be attending Mesa State College in Grand Junction to major in radiology, Jill Hawks who will be attending University of Wyoming to major in pharmaceutical science and Leigh Ann Toovey who will be attending Illinois State University to study elementary education. These young ladies have been such a major part of our youth program and other various church ministries. We wish them all well and success in their futures. Ben Koucherik, Jarrod Burns, Stephanie Raschke, Stacey Ponikvar and Scott Whinery are our other graduates. We wish them all well in the future.
